MPA Safety@Sea Awards

 

To recognise stakeholders’ outstanding contribution to ensuring safety at sea, MPA will be presenting various safety awards at the annual Safety@Sea Conference. The award categories include:

  • Outstanding Contribution to Search and Rescue Efforts in 2017
  • Outstanding Individual Contribution to Safety at Sea
  • Outstanding Corporate Contribution to Safety at Sea
  • Open Category

Note:

  1. Any member of the maritime industry can submit nominations. Self-nominations will be accepted and all nominations will be confidential. Nominations will be forwarded to the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council1 (NMSSC) judging panel:
    1. Professor Richard Lim, Chairman, NMSSC
    2. Capt Daknash Ganasen, Director (Shipping)/Director of Marine
    3. Mr Michael Phoon, Executive Director, Singapore Shipping Association
    4. Capt Mohd Salleh bin Ahmad Sarwan, Director, Singapore Maritime Academy
    5. Mr Alex Pinto, Director and Chief Operations Officer, Richards Hogg Lindley Singapore & Charles Taylor’s Marine Division Singapore
  2. Multiple nomination forms may be submitted. Please submit separate form for each nomination.
  3. Submission Deadline: 25 May 2018.
  4. Evaluation of the nominee will not be restricted to the stated criteria. All supporting justifications submitted to NMSSC will be duly considered.

  6. NMSSC’s decision on the winners will be final.
